Conveniently located in Carlsbad and tucked-away on Palomar Airport Road, 2051 Cucina Italiana celebrates the cuisine from the Emilia-Romagna region.  The menu is centered around house-made pastas, changes by the season, and is a collection of family recipes and traditionally prepared regional Italian cuisine that captures the true essence of its native land.

2051 Cucina Italiana was created from the love of the Italian way of life, by lifelong friends and restaurateurs, Simone Vezzali and Giacomo Giovanetti. Born and raised in the heart of the foodie capital of Italy, Simone & Giacomo met at the young age of 5. In the 25 years since arriving from the Provence of Modena in northern Italy, they have worked tirelessly to refine their skills and gain the experience to fulfill this dream and bring the true flavors of their region to San Diego’s north county’s astute diners.

2051 Cucina Italiana practices scratch cooking.  Daily fresh-made pastas, organic produce, and the freshest of ingredients are used to prepare the exuberant, prodigal, and heartwarming flavors found in Bolognese cuisine.  The extensive and ever evolving wine list focuses on food-friendly pairings and offers many selections from Italy and California.
