2051 Cucina Italiana was created from the love of the Italian way of life, by lifelong friends and restaurateurs, Simone Vezzali and Giacomo Giovanetti. Born and raised in the heart of the foodie capital of Italy, Simone & Giacomo met at the young age of 5. In the 25 years since arriving from the Provence of Modena in northern Italy, they have worked tirelessly to refine their skills and gain the experience to fulfill this dream and bring the true flavors of their region to San Diego’s north county’s astute diners.
2051 Cucina Italiana practices scratch cooking. Daily fresh-made pastas, organic produce, and the freshest of ingredients are used to prepare the exuberant, prodigal, and heartwarming flavors found in Bolognese cuisine.
